WIN 8.1 - problem with safely remove USB

Hi,

For some reason after saying "Safe To Remove Hardware", the USB external drive is reloaded and still shows up in Windows Explorer window before I have a chance to turn off the drive.

Anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix for this?

Actually all the USB memory sticks or whatever you call them, are marked for quick removal by default. What that means is that write cache is not implemented and they are safe to remove as soon as all the data is transferred to them. Other devices, like mice and keyboard even if they have safely remove just stop functioning without USB power being stopped.
