My desktop has win 8.1 64bit
My laptop has win 7 32bit.
I used to use Input director with WiFi a lot before getting a new SSD installed due to a HDD crash and it worked well but both machines were win 7. Input director stopped working so I tried Synergy and it was fabulous for a day. There were updates to both win 8.1 and 7 but Synergy ran like a pig, extremely laggy. Tried Mouse without boarders and also laggy as hell, went back to Input director and it runs but like crap.
I am pretty sure the software is not at fault otherwise Synergy would not have run like a dream over 2 machines initially. Both versions had full Firewall access and results with avast on or off were the same.
Any ideas really welcome and thanks in advance for your time!
