How to display extended icon names in taskbar?

When two or more documents of a program (microsoft word, for example) are used then the word icons are grouped in the task bar. When the mouse pointer is put over the word icon then a little window appears with the document names. This is useful but sometimes is not fast enough.




Is there possible to display the word document title names as extended icon names. Then it wouldn't be necessary to put the mouse pointer over the icons to choose the desired word document because the document names would be displayed in a task bar like two separated icons.

When you right click on the taskbar (Word or something else) icon,
does the jump list show what you need or would like to see of open or recent docs?

You could set the Taskbar to Never Combine:



Right click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
