Solved US/UK keyboard icon in taskbar - How to remove

Hi
I have recently updated to 8.1 update 1 and noticed that there is a new icon (next to the time) in the taskbar to choose either the US or UK layout of the keyboard.
I have chosen the UK layout and wish to now remove this from the taskbar.

Is it possible to remove it from the taskbar?

If you remove US as a language option for the keyboard layout the icon will disappear , it's only there as a way to choose between languages installed if more than one is available.

Control Panel , Languages.
