Okay so I finally got Windows 8.1 on the system, but its super slow on my 840 evo, I have herd that there issue with upgrading from 8 to 8.1 and the account runs slow, but it isnt that, applications like Chrome are really slow to load up, Also web pages seem slower this time, I dont want to move from Windows 8.1 due to battery life, its sooo good :) so is there anyway to solve this?

I would look on the SSD manufacturer's site for a diagnostic program for that drive.
Also check for newer drivers.
If none of that seems germane I would scan for malware with MBAM

This saves time in the long run

Not what the chipset is. What is the manufacturer & model of the computer. If you have 8GB RAM in that unit. It should be booting pretty fast. Especially with that CPU. There is some process that is going on, that is causing issues. Download Speccy from majorgeeks.com. You will get a URL after it runs the tests. Post that URL here.

Just for future reference, if you fill in the Specs form then if you ever post another issue the respondents won't have to search. The System Specs link will be at the bottom of every one of your posts. Otherwise it gets circular. :)

I think that is one area that a lot of people tend to not see or think about. It is sign up on a forum, but forget the details. Now how detailed. Compare mine to your spec's. I even went as far on mine to detail networking equipment.

Speccy though will give us a better picture of what is going one, compared to just having them plug in their system specs. I do not even look at the specs info on someone's profile. Due to at times they are either out of date, or not even updated by most people, until they have been on here for a while.

That MB most likely has only SATA2 ports and most likely they don't have AHCI setting that is essential for SSDs to run to their full potential.

I still think it's a good idea to use the specs link. Otherwise people start posting links to some post in some 2 year old thread where they typed in the stuff. You can always ask for a speccy paste if it's really hardware related. I don't see that your specs are more detailed than mine is germane. The point is to avoid the series of "what do you have for..." posts in each thread.

No way of posting the specs will be perfect. But I still think a link that is in each post is a good policy.
