Error 0x80072f78

Hi there

When I try to install an app on my machine I get the error ;

"Something happened and you purchase cannot be completed - Error code - 0x80072f78".

I have searched for a solution but cannot find one - can anybody help me?

Not enough info provided, install from where and are your windows updates up to date.

If you have a 3rd party AV program installed, temporarily disable it. Some have been known to cause this problem especially Kaspersky.

I'm trying to install an e-reader through the App store. I am not running any AV software.

I have been able to install apps via the store before, this has only started happening over the last day or two.

Clear the windows store cache.

Press Windows+R to open the Run dialog.

Type WSReset.exe, and click OK.

Hi there, thanks for that. I tried that and also restarted my system. Unfortunatly I am still getting the same message as before and am unable to install anything.
