I want a drawing tool prog

    Hi Guys

When on XP, I had a handy drawing tool called Snippy, I could either draw a red line around subject, or by pressing shift, draw a rectangle.

Would appreciate advice on one, or even Snippy if you know the link.

Snipping tool can highlight and you can draw with a pen. No ability to add rectangle or text. For that, i use it is free and small.

The snipping tool is still built into Windows, Frenchman. I have it in my Quick Launch Toolbar for when I need it. In the Metro interface, start typing snipping tool and within the first three or four letters, it will appear. The path to it is C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories. That said, I didn't find it on my start screen.

I click on it (from my toolbar) [press enter when your cursor is on it in search], click New and the screen dims. The line around the "object" can be square or rectangle, according to how you draw it.

    Hope this helps.

Windows 8.1 Pro Update 1 or Manga Studio would be good enough.

The new fresh paint App is pretty decent as well but it goes a little beyond drawing little rectangles.
