It appears that we have the same issue. Do you see any correlation between our system specs? If you have an Nvidia graphics card, what driver version are you using?

For what its worth, I'm running a NVidia GT 640 with the 337.88 drivers. ASUS M4N68 motherboard with a NVIDIA nForce 630a / GeForce 7025 chip-set. AMD Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition Deneb 3.7GHz. Windows 8.1 with update 1 64 bit. I have two Metro Apps open and I don't have your issue.

USB Mouse and USB Wireless / Touchpad Incompatible Fix

Both my USB cable mouse and wireless USB mouse have the stopping at the border problem. Additionally, the wireless USB mouse can not adjust the size of pictures in Windows 2013.

The fix is to disable the touchpad when an external USB mouse is connected as shown below. Unfortunately, this does not help the desktop users.

I am using a desktop computer, so I don't have a touch pad or any Synaptics HID, and this issue is independent of the mouse I have attached at the time.

I'm sure most people prefer other HIDs, but isn't this a little bit off-topic?

    Thank you for your responses!

can you or did you try setting resolution the same on both monitors ,if you can ,I thinks that is most likely the problem ,but I have no proof of this ,just saying

    This works.

In any case a workaround that just worked for me was to set the monitors to duplicate and then back to extend. No sticking on the edge of the screen anymore after that.

I'm not sure for how long but i can confirm doing this does resolve my sticking issue.

    Solution/Workaround Confirmed

I can confirm that what savage suggested worked for me. This isn't a driver issue.

If your monitors are on the Extend setting, which they should be if you're using multiple monitors, switch them to Duplicate and then back to Extend.
