This just started yesterday. I updated to 8.1 a couple weeks ago, all was fine. In my updates I noticed there was an update for the graphics driver (never saw them included in windows updates before) shortly after I had updated to 8.1. Stupidly I tried to install it, forgetting that I have an nvidia geforce gt430 installed (don't need the other update, correct?). It crashed when it tried to install but computer started up fine and had been working fine the past two weeks. I only bring it up because it's the only thing different going on in the past few weeks. I looked in my update history and found this: Intel Corporation - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3 - Intel(R) HD Graphics

I assume it wouldn't install because of the nvidia? Anyway, is there some other setting or something going on that would make my computer randomly restart? It NEVER happens while I'm on it/using it. Seems I walk away and come back and it has gone back to the main computer screen where you have to sign in with a password to get to the start/desktop screens. I looked at my sleep setting and it was 5 minutes...would sleep make it restart? I changed it to never and hoping that will solve the problem.
