How do I install WMIC?

I have a version of Windows 8 on a bootable USB stick that is part of the installation procedure for a software package that am working with. I need to be able to list the disk drives that have been detected on this computer. WMIC seems a good tool to use for this, but WMIC does not seem to have been included in this Windows build. How do I add WMIC to the tools available on this USB stick?

Or what other Cmd window method do I use to list the disk drives that this computer thinks it's got?
