Some files, when open with notepad, can be easily read in English. For other ones, I get characters like the ones bellow.
How could I read these characters, is there any online translator for this? or I should learn basic C++ or other means?

Many thanks

It looks like a binary file. What's the name of the file you got the copy/paste from?

Don't mess around with files like this.
They are programs or drivers and stuff like that.
If you open them for edit and save them, they will probably get corrupted with line feeds, etc.

There is nothing to read. They are binaries.

If you are curious make a copy to another directory, such as temp. Open the copy with a hex editor. There are plenty of free ones around. Just check the large freeware download sites.

That will be fun - reading the stuff in hex. I wonder how many people still can read Hex. In the 60s and 70s all of our dumps were in Hex. After some practice, I was able to read it like text.

I wasn't very adept at reading hex. I cheated and looked for embedded text. ;)
