    Deleting Ghost No-Byte Files


    For about a month now Iv'e had these two 0-Bytes Ghost Files just kicking around. They just won't delete, tried a bunch of programs, tried taking ownership, tried slapping the pc. Nothing

    Any ideas.?

    If you're sure they have no use you can use a Linux Live CD like Ubuntu and delete them that way. Just boot up the CD and access your file system that way.

Disk Cleanup Not Deleting Files in Performance & Maintenance
I recently ran a Disk Cleanup as part of my regular maintenance on my new computer. It had over 2.18GB of files to cleanup. That seemed a little high considering I run it every week to 2 weeks. It said it deleted all the files. I ran the Scan Disk again to be sure and it still had 2.18GB of files....
I just noticed since last night that when I delete, or even after I download files, they still appear or don't appear unless I refresh. This isn't normal, and it's odd that it just started. What can I do to fix this?
