All of a sudden i can no longer view IE11 from the desktop. It will not start at all and gives the message "Explorer has stopped working". I have tried the following -
I can use Explorer if started from the tile but it is a completely different format with no tool bars, add-on etc.
Any ideas?
- the advice provided ion previous posts on this site
- switching Explorer off, rebooting, switching it back on and rebooting again
- Registry clean
- disabling anti virus and firewall
- system restore - this however failed on several restore dates because it could not find a file.
