    You can remove Charms bar.

    Use: "My WCP CharmBar Customizer"
    Advanced -> Edit UI file
    Empty UI file
    Save
    Apply

    Thanks NiFu, but how do you access the settings if you remove the Charms?

    Thanks a lot. But me and keyboard commands don't mix well. All I used in my life was Ctrl+Alt+Del for emergencies.

    Is there any not-keyboard alternative?

    Thank you WHS.

    None that I know. But that does not mean that they do not exist.

    Do you mean "not-keyboard" or "no short cut" (like keyboard commands Ctrl+Alt+Del) ?

    No short cut: In Metro start menu type "settings".

    Thanks for the tip.
    By "Empty UI file" I guess you mean: clear everything except:
    Code:
    <duixml>
    </duixml>
    This way, it worked for me...

    Captain Jack, this thread is great. I just finished installing the Win 8 preview n a virtual machine, and you've answered three questions I was about to post. Good job, Bud.
