hi everyone,
ive had this happen twice already on my custom built pc, first time around i was able to access the bios and select the correct sequence for the hdds to read properly. now im running into this issue again after i had previously just did a shutdown of my system with no issues before hand. my problem now is i cannot access my keyboard to get back into the bios screen to correct the same issue i once had before. its almost like the usb ports cannot read my keyboard at all, ive tried both rear and front ports to no avail. i dont believe its a bad motherboard b/c the bios screen does initiate on startup before going to the treacherous reboot and select proper boot device screen. could this be related to a CMOS issue? Ive tried the whole shutting system down draining residual power unplugged unnecessary usb connectors and all that before trying with no luck. any help here would be greatly appreciated.
