    Metro horizontal scroll bar

I am using some background themes that utilize both monitors, not just repeat on the other monitor. Is there a way to spread the metro screen across both monitors so I can see all of the window at once instead of having to horizontal scroll back and forth?

Zoom View - In Start and Apps Screen in Windows 8

what I want to do is "spread the metro screen across both monitors". Your suggestion remains on one monitor?

Yes, but the point is to reduce or eliminate scrolling.

Sorry I was unable to offer something useful.
    Perhaps someone else will post.
    I only use 1 monitor.

In a multi monitor setup the option to extend is available.

Second Screen - Duplicate, Extend, or Switch Display in Windows 8

There are other techs here that use multi monitors.
    Best of Luck -

My monitors are in extended mode right now, each screen independent. But for instance if I wanted to look at my Apps, right now they only appear on one screen and scrolling is necessary to look at them all. I wanted them to "extend" across both monitors. See pic to demonstrate what the end result is that I want. Tx

The Metro Start Screen will only display on one monitor at a time. I run a triple monitor setup. The only way to get it to display on more than one screen would be to fool Windows into thinking your two displays are actually one big screen. You'd have to use an Eyefinity setup or the equivalent.

OK, thanks for the clarification then, I guess the horizontal scroll bar has become a part of my life. Thanks for the tip on Eyefinity, will have a look at it.

First you need the hardware for Eyefinity to work. Eyefinity is AMD. I would imagine NVidia have their version. There are drawbacks too it though, aside from maybe having to buy a new video card that supports it. You could end up with a row of tiles right it the middle with half a tile on one screen and the other half on the other. With the two bezels in between the halves it can make it hard to see what program the tile is for.
