Solved Create Icon

Could someone tell me how to create an icon on
the desk top in Win 8.

Not sure what you mean by icon, but you can create a shortcut by right clicking on the mouse and then typing in the location of what you want to run.

Let me know if this is what you want, or what you want to do.

As in Win 7 you can right click on the app in the start menu and create a short cut on the desk to

If you right click in "Start or "Apps" page you can create a short cut.
