Hi,
I've just made a fresh install of Windows 8.1 on a desktop PC. I'm having problems with mouse clicks within specific areas of Windows. It generally works in desktop environment and in tiles menu but when I go, for instance, to PC setting, I'm able to highlight an option but can't click on it (works with keyboard navigation, though). I don't think it is a mouse problem, as I tried three different ones and the problem occurs in the same sections.
It also happens in some desktop appliactions such as Autodesk Maya, it basically stops me from clicking anything in this programme.
Another lead is that I can do those clicks with my Wacom (Intuos 5) tablet pen. I thought it may be the tablet driver and that it changed input method but the problem occurred before I even plugged or installed the tablet, so I don't think that is an option either.
I'm also using Win 8.1 on a tablet but this never happened.
Thanks in advance!
Chris
PS. The problem I described is permanent but sometimes other software such as Word or Chrome ignore mouse clicks as well then I press Alt+Ctrl+Del it and open Task Manager. It suddenly starts to function.
