Currently running 8.1...want to download 8.1 part deux. I went into the Windows 8 store and searched for update-couldn't find it. What am I doing wrong?

It is entirely up to you, but IMHO you're making it hard on yourself. If patient, windows Update will deliver it to your door.

To be brutally honest with you, as you started this thread unknowing of how to obtain the update, now asking what files to download, I would quite hardheartedly advise you to wait just another hour or two until Microsoft literally serves it to you on a platter. I for one wouldn't want the responsibility of advising you on something best left to an automatic update.
In short, if you need to ask, I advise you to wait.

if you wanted all of the updates you would download all of them in the list[ its one big update file and 3 smaller ones ],and check my other post about the order of install ,the first one in the list may already be install on your computer ,its just the update installer ,after you click on it to run it will tell you if its all ready installed
