C++ Error, Explorer.exe

I am occasionally getting a C++ Error, Explorer.exe
It does not state a program that is causing the issue, and the timing appears to be random, it won't happen for days then all of a sudden it pops up. Today it happened to me, I noticed it after streaming movies to my Blu Ray Player via Serviio. The movies played fine the entire way through, then when I went back to the computer I noticed the error. I hit OK, and it restarted explorer.
Any Suggestions? Thanks

I found the Event Viewer, but I have never used it... What exactly should I be looking for?

It happened again, seems to be getting more frequent.
I did uninstall all the C++ applications yesterday to try to resolve, and installed all new re-distributable ones.
2008, 2010, and 2012
There are also several Information logs in the event viewer prior to this failure that are The Windows Security Center Service could not stop Windows Defender.
not sure if that is related.
