Saving pictures from the web

Hi, Not sure about my feelings for Win 8 yet, but I do know that I am unable to save any photos from the internet into my "photos" folder.

Anyone have a resolution for this?

I do not have the option in Windows 8 preview to save any photo with a right click.
I have the options to - copy, copy link, open link in new tab and open link.

What am I missing? Thanks.

Real vs App

Are you using the "real" version of IE10, or are you using the "app" version IE10?

Crippled?

My understanding is that the Metro IE is a crippled version of IE10.

Try going to the desktop and running IE using the pinned icon.
Does that make a difference?

I use FF.

Aah yes that is the difference. Thanks so much. I prefer ff as well but when i use it the screen gets all messed up and i figured it was not compatible with win 8

Its the Metro version of IE when you right click on a photo there is no option to save only to copy???? very silly hopefully this will be added with an update soon.

I used chrome earlier but now I am kinda addicted to IE10 metro version. it feels kinda better actually.

just copy the image and paste it where ever you want...
its too simple has no one else figured it out????

Seems like another example of having to do more work in W8.
