    That is pretty much it, but is there a way of moving it to the bottom of file explorer and editing what details are seen?

    only way I could imagine would be to go back to using win7 ,i don't use any win8 altering 3rd party software so im not sure if there is one that would do what you want ,good luck

    Thanks for that caperjack, looks pretty good and works.

    Does anyone know how i can get the start menu though:

    open start,type in the name of the program ,click the icon to run program
