Any ideas on how to move the hover menu to another screen? I find it very difficult to point my mouse in the corner of my 1st monitor (red in picture)
I have tried to change the main display, but it does too much.

No, but Win Key+C will bring up the charm Bar.

This is one UI quirk that needs to be addressed. A lot of people I know have mutli-monitor set-ups, and Windows 8 includes improved multi-monitor support... but having one pixel in the corners of the first monitor makes those targets almost impossible to hit. There needs to be a multi-monitor solution to being able to easily pull up the charms bar with just a mouse.

This is not surprising to hear. Microsoft didn't really think out the Windows 7 Aero Snap feature for multimonitor setups, either; it essentially doesn't work. I'm truly appalled by this "four corners" nonsense. I turned off Aero Peek because I was regularly activating it accidentally, and "the four corners" multiplies it by, well, four.

With this "Metro" thing, Microsoft has thrown out many tenets of basic desktop UI design:

    1. Modes are now "good".
    2. Hidden, poorly discoverable features are now "good".
    3. Hotspots are now "good". (There was a reason GEM was the only graphical environment that implemented dropdown menus as opposed to pulldown menus.)
    4. Tiny mouse targets are now "good". Putting them in the corners does mitigate that, except they ignored the use of multiple monitors.

    Microsoft should rename "Metro" "Facepalm".

You can also use Windows key + Q to go directly to the Apps page, two more clicks of the Windows Key and your back to the desktop.

True, but that's not very discoverable, and if your hand is already on the mouse, it's not very efficient. There needs to be a better way to do this with mouse only... one that is consistent and a bit more intuitive.
