Help with People app [Windows 8.1]

    Hi,

I have recently unlinked my Skype account from my Microsoft account. For the sake of simplicity, let's say my Skype username is "uzername". The People app still shows this account, and when clicking on it, it says that one of the connected accounts is "uzername_6". What is this? My Skype name is just "uzername" and it doesn't have any "6" at the end.
My People application on web is ok, it has no accounts linked and it's empty.
I have also attached a printscreen, the username is blurred out for the privacy.

    Any help is appreciated.

Hi Sukle, welcome to Windows EightForums.
Could it be something like '6 unread messages' or so?

    Hi,

    thanks for the welcome

My Skype application (I use the desktop version and not the Store one) says I have not missed any conversations and I also can't find any unread messages anywhere.

I dug around a little and found somewhere that Skype replaced Messenger and that People app is now automatically linked to Skype.. Do any of you also have Connected to Skype (Skype logo) at the bottom right corner of the People app?
