    Host Process Setting Sync problem

When trying to delete some wallpaper/background images in a folder I get an error of "File in Use - The action can't be completed because the file is open in Host Process for Setting Synchronization." The files can be deleted after I wait about 5 or so seconds but something is still wrong I've never got this error before. Its bad enough I have to turn my thumbnail images off as explorer.exe will lock images in folders and now this. Please help.

To get rid of it click Change PC Settings in the Start Screen. On the left click Sync Settings. At the very top toggle it Off.

Ok so I finally got around to try and fix this problem. For starters "Change PC Settings in the Start Screen. On the left click Sync Settings" well when I clicked change PC Settings the window would appear and then crash, big issue had to find a fix. Fixed that with a really long command prompt entry. Then opened up change PC Settings and sure enough no Sync Settings, found out it was then put under Skydrive, well no Skydrive settings. But Onedrive settings are available and sure enough there it was, Sync Settings. All that took about an hour and a half to get into some settings that I will never use though is causing errors on my computer.

Seems to be fixed now thanks.

You should have seen what I had to go through to disable the Fn Key on my Laptop. It was one click in a drop down box. But finding the drop down box took me a few days. Glad you resolved it.

I made the UNFORTUNATE mistake of selecting to "sync" my skydrive. Decided I don't need to sync my files across devices or even for sharing on my home PC.
