I've been using Win8 for a long time now on my laptop and I'm very happy with it.
I now have purchased a 10" Win8 tablet. Do I really need to upgrade to 8.1? Quite a few people seem to be experiencing upgrade problems. What are the main advantages with 8.1?

Thanks for that Adamf. I think I will stick to 8 for the time being.

Retired in 2015 after working in the tech industry for 41 years. First 10 years as a Technician, the rest as a programmer/software engineer. After 1 year of retirement, I was bored so went back to work as a Robotic Process Automation Consultant. Retired for 3rd (and final) time in 2019.

But I would wait 'till April 8th to do that, no reason to be on Windows 8.1 longer than you have to.
