Everytime I bootup Windows 8.1, I get an error window telling me that one of my appz needs .NET Framework 4.5 in order to work properly. When I try installing it, I get the following message: "1. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 is already a part of this operating system. You do not need to install the .NET Framework. 2. Same or higher version of .NET Framework 4.5 has already been installed on this computer." Anyone know a fix for this? Do I even need .NET? Thanks.

Tried it. Still getting that annoying error message. I can't believe how bad Windows 8 and 8.1 are. Think I might just go back to Windows 7 and never upgrade again. I can see why Dell is offering new machines with Win7 installed.
