Solved Problems setting folder view option

When I change the view option of a folder; IE List to Details etc; it changes for all the folders. I'd like to be able to just change the view for that single folder. It's really annoying having to reset the view with every new folder I decide to open.

It sounds like you are doing this in a library instead of a folder. All included folders in a library share the same folder view setting no matter which folder in the library it was set in.

To have separate folder views, you would need to be in the actual folder instead of in the library.

For example, instead of the Documents library, you would want to be in your actual "C:\Users\(user-name)\Documents" folder.
