Hi guys, I took a gamble and resized my system partition and now my Windows 8 can no longer boot up :( however, I can boot to Windows 7 and I am still able to see all my files in Windows 8 (i have a multiboot system)

I try to copy winload.exe from windows 7 and put it in windows 8 but it doesn't allow me to do so, like it's locked or something. I also tried to repair/refresh/reset from the installation CD win 8 but no go

I attached the ff error msgs, please help!!

Hi bsk8er, welcome to Windows EightForums. :)

Worst case scenario, you may have salvage your files and reinstall your OS.

When you resized, did you happen to delete any small, say 100mb partitions?

That's where your Bootloader was.

Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.
Thanks for the replies guys! Unfortunately I can't do the ESC method because it's a multiboot system so pressing ESC will cancel the operation...

I have attached the partition drives. Idk if I deleted it but I tried visual BCD to repair it, but it didn't work

Can you tell me the cmds to run because I've ran most of them and it doesn't work. I attempted sfc and it wouldn't let me, rebuild bcd, fix boot, mbr, etc.

choose the cmd option first and these are the ways:-
1.bootrec /fixboot
if that doesnt work-
2.bootsect.exe/nt60 all/force and then exit!
This should have 90% fixed it
3.bootrec.exe/fixMbr
bootrec.exe/fix boot
bootrec.exe/rebuildbcd

try ur luck and wait for a few mins before trying another line ;)
