Windows 8 TV projector

Hello,

I had a question about Windows 8 when connecting my laptop to my TV.
When I am connect my laptop to my TV, I arrange all of my desktop files in a specific order.
However, when I disconnect from the TV and just use the laptop on its own, all of the files on the desktop go into a scrambled order.

Is there a way to keep my desktop files in a specific order, and keep them that way when switching from regular laptop use and TV projection?

Any help is appreciated.

not sure if you can stop it ,It's caused by the different screen resolution from laptop to tv ,

If your computer is only using one Graphics chipset for both the output device and laptop screen, you would get that. What you may want to do is set up a Local profile for when you want to use the TV. What kind of output are you using to connect to the projector (hdmi, VGA, USB card)?
