Files - opening after saving ???

    For email in Chrome, I use the mailto: extension. It works really well in pulling up my Yahoo mail. Easier then copying the mailbox and pasting into Outlook.

    When you download a file you need to right click it & click Properties & Unblock it.

    first thing i do when i want to save something is rt click - ''save as'' - what do i do after that? i couldn't find ''properties' anywhere so i don't understand what your directions ... all i want to do is the same as i was able to do in XP - ''save as' - choose 'where' i want to save it i.e. desktop/or another folder of my choice - how do i do this in Win 8?

    The process is the same as xp except for the Unblocking part.

    ok got as far as your final screen but where it shows ''read only /hidden - advanced ...both read only & hidden are checked - there is no ''unblock'' choice showing under ''advanced...

    Probably because you have different security settings than I do.
