I installed the leaked official Windows 8.1 Pro x64 update 1 package.

Guuuuys, would somebody be so kind and tell me how to resize my tiles? After the update, when trying to right click a tile Windows doesn't list me any options...nothing! What the Fluff!!!
I can't remove, update or change any tiles because the context bar( select item+ right click) is... gone.

I have removed the update now, but if you right click an icon, you should now get a drop down menu

You mean you removed the update from your computer?
No drop down menu- I'll need to see why there's no dropdown menu popping up. >.<
Anyways, it doesn't work for me and that's why I asked if it's gone. Thanks for the info. Good to know it's supposed to be there.

Right clicking a Tile should put a checkmark in the corner and open a drop down menu with options like, unpin from start, pin to the taskbar, and resize.

Well, curiosity got to me and I wanted to see if there was anything particularly exciting. No, There wasn't.
But, after installing it, I learned that the updates, including the main one, were specific to builds. There could be a couple more builds, with only minor modifications, but, with this, the principal update will most likely be recompiled. If, for example, you have automatic updates turned on, this could seriously upset your OS. Ok to play with it, until the final release, but uninstall or reinsert your image before you download and install the public update.

Again just a question. . .where did you read that; reason is I would like to read the article and see if it is true. Again just curiosity.

I didn't "read" it anywhere. It was information from a discussion, and theorising. No rudeness intended, but you don't have to believe if it is true, But I have taken purely my own initiative on this, as the information seems to make sense to me.
You asked why I removed it - I gave you my reason. The case is closed.
