    cannot unlock a file


    Hi
    i download a jpg , a wallpaper
    and with a right click i found i translate with google




    the file is from another computer.For help protect your computer could be blocked

    on the right there is
    undo block
    but it doesn't work because i click on undo block ,apply ->ok
    but the file is still blocked

    and i'm the administrator

    Hello drugo,

    It sounds like you are either not the owner of the file, and/or do not have permissions set to allow you access to the file.

    If you like, add the "Take Ownership" context menu in the tutorial below, then right click on the file, and click/tap on Take Ownership to see if that will allow you access afterwards.

    my primary os is windows 7 sp1 64bit in a separate ssd
    take "Take Ownership" over some partition (the windows 7 is set offline under windows 8.1 ) could give issue to w7?

    where does "take ownership" save its data? i mean in windows 8 registry or in the other partitions mtf?

    i will do it soon , now i 'm not on my pc
    but i noticed i can't save for example a file to many folders and partitions
    it told me i haven't the permission

    Go ahead and add the "Take Ownership" context menu using step two in the tutorial below, then right click on the music folder, and click/tap on Take Ownership to see if that will allow you to save to it afterwards.
