    @David: Here's the video:

@Madeline: David Bailey's suggestion is a perfect alternative if the following applies:

    • You do not have too many preset messages that need to be constructed
    • You do not need to change your preset text-to-talkt messages on a regular basis

Now, if both of the above apply, maybe we can help you create those messages and, if privacy is a concern, this can be done via a PM or other means. In the meantime, I'm going to check out your text program and see what I can find out about it; however, I don't hold much hope since it is not working for David as well. Please respond with your thoughts on this latest recommendation.

    Best regards,

Here's something that might work for you! This online text-to-speech converter creates downloadable audio files that can be played as required. No software needed:

Hello, thank you for reply. I will see if I can make it work.

Is there a way to make it work on the metro app? I have problems to navigate the small screen.

Any help is welcome. A Talking app was so handy and so useful as I could change it for the situation. I wonder what happened to my App to break it.

I have been feeling so depressed over this, as it was something that kept me safer.

For now preloaded responses through that website might be an idea. Thank you.

What would I need to do to get it accessible on the Metro screen?

    Success !

You save txt files & load them into the program & call them up & you click the play button & it speaks your message !

Hello, thank you for reply. I will see if I can make it work.
What would I need to do to get it accessible on the Metro screen?
If you are referring to my suggestion, you could do the following:

    • Create all of your emergency messages in advance by using the online text-to-audio converter
    • Use an audio app to play them back as needed

With that said, I am not sure what your requiremets are exactly. So, do you need to:

    • Be able to create these messages on the fly?
    • Does the method have to be able to do the above without internet access?
    • Do you require a piece of software that functions exactly like your original software?
    • Are you willing to pay for new software or does it have to be free?

If all of the latter is true, then I would suggest you try and search for a solution yourself because you can do all the downloading and testing (by yourself) more easily because David and I are just grabbing at straws in an effort to assist you (without knowing your exact requirements). Anyway, I would strongly suggest you start googling for some alternatives and see what will work for you.

Sorry I couldn't help but I just don't have a clear enough understanding of your requirements.

    Best of luck,
