Silly me - forgot about that one. But nope, not really into games. Maybe I should give it a go.

Angry Birds addiction aside , one of the many things I find my iPad2 extremely useful for is to check mail whilst away from my PC and it's certainly easier on the eyes than a Smartphone. On vacation especially it's all I need to keep up with what's going on around the Internet.

Well lookie there! Chris Pirrello (LockerGnome) came to the same conclusion that I stated back in Jan 2012!!
That Windows 8 would feel much better on a tablet PC over a desktop!!

I LOVE IT WHEN I'M PROVEN RIGHT!!!

    heh...heh...heh...

Kids buy iStuf instead of PCs, because they can bring them a Scholl and show to their friends they have one too. It’s just a cool and show off thing. The old man in the video get it right, the Windows menu hide on each side are really design for tablets.

When's any business going to speak up in favour of W8? Everywhere I read they can't afford the training for their employees - which I can understand, but its probably why they are doing so badly in the first place - because they can't run a business efficiently, and it probably wouldn't matter what OS they were running. If Microsoft doesn't give in, and return the desktop start menu they going to loose Millions of dollars - wow, and what for? All Microsoft seems to be able to do at this stage is to effectively alienate themselves with the business community and the consumers.

Until 5 years ago, The major bank here was still running on IBM OS 2, they move to XP. Corporations like uniformity. They don't change for fun.

Why change a system if it fit their need?
Don't forget something, purchasing a computer is an asset, you have to pay income taxes on it, you can amortize it in 3 or 5 years. So even if Intel and MS want peoples change their PCs every years, the Business accountants will say no.

This just go back to your uniformity reply. BUT!!! Taking that into consideration, THEY had upgraded from IBM O/S 2
to Windows XP. Surprises me though, with all the majority of hacking done to XP, it is just to unsecure for me to have
    kept.
