Who is responsable for Windows 8? Windows Phone 7 is sick, fugly and fail enough, but Windows phones are a little irrelevance while Windows is what the whole world uses and is necessary for the survival and daily functioning of billions of people.
Seriously? This is an operating system for a computer. There is so much more to life. Don't sweat the small stuff!

    Microsoft

The one thing I really like about windows8 is how much you can customize.I love customizing my PC.I love to tinker.Even though I not a fan of tiles I'm liking this OS better and better.I think what most of use hate is the feeling that Microsoft is forcing Metro down our throats. They even took away the classic reg. hack. Why not give people choices?

    Category Titles?

I've seen several screenshots showing category titles on the Metro start screen.

How are people creating those category titles?

The regedit still works. It is in C:\Windows -- pretty much at the bottom because it is not in a folder.

OK, then I misunderstood. But that hack took other useful functions also away. So I question the wisdom of that hack.

Click the magnifying glass in the bottom right hand corner to 'zoom out'. Right click on a tile within a group you wish to categorise then select 'Name Group' from the options at the bottom of the screen.

    That's really obvious.

    Thanks Calico.

    IMO:
    • Only a couple of useful functions were eliminated (YMMV).
    • Not having to constantly swap to another screen (to find things) more than compensated.
