Hi guys,
Just a head's up No problems.
I followed Brink's way of updating to Windows 8.1 +, (used Windows Upgrade Assistant), and everything went like clockwork apart from my AV. Needed to uninstall and install 8.1 version, the Firewall showed 'ERROR', after a new install of my AV everything is hunky-dorey My personal thanks to 'Brink' for a concise and explanatory way of upgrading.
Can I suggest something All new members, try the 'Tutorials Section' first. If you are still stuck with a problem there are experts here to help.
