Laptop goes to black screen after booting windows 8.1

3 days ago i turned of my computer and left it turned of over the night. Then when i tried to turn it back on again, i get the windows 8/8.1 boot logo, then when it dissapears i just get a black screen, however, i get the windows tone after a while indicating that the system is running, and that the only problem is that the screen is not displaying anything.

I have tried booting in safe-mode, that worked. But no matter what i changed (start-up programs and resolution) nothing helped.

I have tried connecting another screen to my laptop, but that screen also displays the black color.

I should perhaps mention that my laptop originally came with Windows 7, but i upgraded it to Windows 8, and later on 8.1.

So if any of you got an idea for what might help, please do tell.

Error 0xC1900101 – 0x40017 when installing Windows 8.1

Hello,

We understand that many customers are receiving error 0xC1900101 – 0x40017 when installing Windows 8.1. This error is typically caused by an incompatible driver.

If you are receiving this error:
1.
First, please double-check the error code. There are many variations of error 0xC1900101, each with a different location code -- the error extension, located after the dash. The information in this thread is intended only for location code 0x40017. If you are receiving a different location code, these steps are unlikely to resolve your issue.

2.
Check that you’ve already updated all of your drivers. In particular, if you have an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card, make sure you’ve installed the latest Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

3.
Check that you do not have any Frequently Asked Questions - What devices are supported by the SteelSeries Engine? that support the SteelSeries Engine installed on your PC. The SteelSeries Engine software is currently not supported on Windows 8.1. Please uninstall the software before attempting to update to Windows 8.1

Safe mode and/or safe mode + networking.

Probably due to Windows Update installing poor video driver. Download/install that from manufacturer, first. Take it from there.

Any good advice on how i get into safe-mode?
Because it's kind of random whether my laptop gives me the opportunity to do that or not.

I know that if my laptop was born with windows 8 i could just hit "esc" and then "f11". But because it came with windows 7, it just goes into windows 7 repair program, and that does not give me the opportunity to start in safe mode.

But i would like a tutorial that works for my laptop very much.

This is all i get, since i'm from Denmark it's danish. Wait a sec then i will edit this and there will be a translation.

Edit: Translation
The error "1084" occured on DCOM under attempt to start the service ShellHWDetection with the arguments "not availabel" for driving the server: the code.

Almost the same in the second picture.
The last one is:
NVIDIA-installationprogram can not continue
This NVIDIA-graficdriver is not compatible with this version of Windows.
This grafic driver could not find any compatible grafic hardware

Fixed*

So, i got my computer working again. Here is how i did.

I bought an SSD, installed it into my computer with a clean version of windows on it, everything started working.
Now, you might not necessarly have to buy a new harddisk, but what i would recomend, would be to make a full erase of the harddisk you already have, and then reinstall windows.

Perhaps, if possible, it would help to uninstall any graphic drivers, and then reinstall an old version, and start working your way through, until fully updated again.

*Fix may cost money

For the curiuos, the SSD i bought was Samsungs 840 PRO edition with 256 gb on it.
