    Minor PC problems--Green Video issues

    Hi All

Minor PC problems expereicned lately green video screens (current security software Avast 9.0.2013 Free) and Malwarebytes installed, Briefly ran Windows Defender/Windowsfirewall and videos played fine on every site. So looks to be caused by Avast.

Should I just remove Avast, then run Dism and SFC to repair any corruption, then reactivate Windows Defender and stick with that, or should I do a complete system refresh of Windows 8.1.

Just did all that little maintenance so far seems a bit faster, and videos seem to be playing fine in IE 11 Modern mode and Desktop now, not sure why it does that with other security program.. But i'm happy now it seems fixed without going thru trouble of full refresh
