I am getting distorted sound (crappy bass mostly) when using the metro app, but no problems with using Windows Media Player. Anyone else experience this and know how to fix it?

You may need to alter the settings for your app - also do the usual of restart after updating the app, check drivers and close windows media player whilst you are using the metro app?
