    Okay ill observe it for a couple days more. What should I replace AVG free with? I don't visit or download from questionable sites or sources, but I still feel "unprotected" without a good anti virus. Any help would be greatly appreciated it! Thanks you!

    ok,as I said in a previous post I use Windows Defender[ it was called Microsoft security essentials, for xp/vista/win7 ], and I have no problem since win8 came out ,its running in win8 by default ,look in the all apps screen in Start for its icon ,I pin mine to my taskbar for convenience
