Unfortunately, I don't think I can help you with this issue because I did a clean 8.1 install; whereas, it looks like you took the upgrade route (from some previous OS to Windows 8.0). For all I know that could be normal for your situation. With that said, maybe someone else will step in and offer a compare based on a similar upgrade path.

    Good luck,

    I saw it.

I am not advising on accounts.

I am just suggesting an easier way to take screenshots.

Someone else will have to help you with user accounts.

    Yes to that.
Open, if you have the permissions, users - Administrator - Desktop, and I think you will find your snips. Whatever else you delete under users, DO NOT delete DEFAULT, or PUBLIC.

Thanks, but finding my snips is no longer the issue now for me.

I want the problem fixed so they dont go missing without having to "save as" all the time.

Besides - I have way too many user accounts as you can se and I am sure the snips lost in the past will be in all of them.

It is not an upgrade but the PC came with 8 on it.

What to do now? I want to delete some of these user accounts as this is my pc and nobody elses - there are no other users except me.

How can I find out which one is me?

Well, by the date, anyti_000 is you, but in honesty, only you can be the judge of that. But, when you start the computer and get to the log on, what are you offered and what have you been accepting as your user? If it is anyti, then you are OK. You can get rid of "Default migrated" and "Administrator", and "Updatususer" What you should do is "Move" them in the first instance, one at a time, to a safe place on your computer (Create a folder called "TempUser", for example). Restart between each move. If you are logging on as anything else, don't go further but post again.
P.S. So where did you find the snips - that would be a clue as to which user you are in.?

If you are willing to sacrifice whatever third party software was already installed on the computer, you could also create a new account, in you chosen name, and then delete the other users as I have already suggested. This would be a cleaner solution.
