Just tested the above link and it works the same as I previously described. Moreover, I also tested at the point of insertion (page 2) and also the last page with a brand new reply to the last response. Is it just IE? Have you tried another browser? BTW, I am up to date on all Windows Updates. Here's more info for you:

I'm here to help with any comparisons you'll need to fix your issue.

    @ my2cents:
I scooped up the security update from yesterday, maybe that's our problem:
    Attachment 37990

however, the same plug-in version resides in Firefox and I can upload images in FF but not in IE!?

    @Edwin,

Since I did miss that windows security update, I download it and applied same. I also updated my FF plug in to the same version as well. They both still work as designed and I am now running the same versions as you. Thanks for the tip! Now, I don't know, if/how this might come into play but I do not have Oracle Java installed on my PC. Moreover, I couldn't associate that directly with this issue but who knows at this point?

I'm up to date on updates, including Flash Player via Windows Update.

Brink commented on this once, but I don't remember what he stated. I'm thinking it's the forum software. John comments on how outdated and unsupported it is.

Strangely I can post pics in this thread but not the other, So I don't think it's any browser. Here's my shots.

My Flash Player Settings window is different:

I have no trouble playing vids, etc anywhere else. I can post pics on this thread all day. 1,000 Inet points to the one that solves this.

The forum software may be outdated but it still works for my configuration so that means there is something in your configuration that is blocking compatibility with the forum software "at times." Now, don't get me wrong, maybe a forum software update might change things, but as it stands, mine works and yours does not. So, moving forward with a comparison (if you wish to do so), I see we are on the same version of IE; however, there is a distinct difference in our add-ons view. Here is my latest view:

I also noticed that you do not have the FF plug-in installed; therefore, I assume you do not have that browser either and you have chosen not to make that comparison and report your testing results with same. My last suggestion would be for you to disable all add-ons in IE, reboot, and retest. IF OK, then start enabling the add-ons "one at a time" to identify when the problem returns. Also, please not that I do not have any accelerators so I didn't provide that view.

Good luck with your decision to continue testing but a browser comparison would be the very best thing you could do right now IMHO.

This is weird, was not like this in the past in IE!
Still could not insert image 'From Computer':
    Attachment 38007

EXCEPT when I click on 'Go Advanced'! (go figure?)
    Attachment 38009
Edit: In Firefox I don't have to do that.

Still works for me without having to use advanced:

Try my previous suggest on disabling add ons (eg, try to make yours look like one that works).
