    Accidentally Formatted Bit-Locker Encrypted Drive!

    I may need some help
See, my little brother accidentally formatted an encrypted partition of my HDD (Disk drive D: 100 GB to be exact) which contained really important data that I need back! It had all of my photographs from the past 5 years (which I was too lazy to back up on cloud storage).
Would this help me recover the lost data? I do have the password and the recovery key. I hope this works

Hello Riley, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Since it was formatted and not just deleted, it may not be as recoverable. Especially since it was encrypted with BitLocker. You might see if you may be able to recovery the partition using the method in the tutorial below.

Partition - Recover Deleted Partitions in Windows

    Hope this helps,

    Accidentally Formatted Bit-Locker Encrypted Drive!

Okay, I have a HUGE PROBLEM! My little brother accidentally formatted a bit-locker encrypted partition on my HDD which contain a lot of important data that I was too lazy to back-up
As expected, none of the programs that recover deleted data (i.e. Recover My Files, iRecover, iUndelete, etc) did not work since the data encrypted.

Is there anything I can do to salvage the lost data? I do have the recovery keys and the password to the drive. Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

Please, guys! I need that data back! And I know that it's not impossible to get it back.

Did you see if what I posted above may be able to recover the partition?
