win8 wont boot, automatic repair doesnt help

hello so im stuck with these windows 8 atm. When turned on it goes into automatic repair which ofc does nothing and then just goes to other options screen.
I tried refreshing pc, automatic fix - didnt help. I dont have any restore images. I dont have windows dvd. The pc is some ASUS prebuilt.
However, i connected other HDD with windows 7 in it so i can boot to them and have access to all the files on the other hdd with the faulty windows 8.
Is there a way to tamper with the files so that i could boot win8 normally again?

Note: You may need to do startup repair 3 to 4 times.

you best option might be to remove the win8 drive and connect to another computer using a removable usb device . something like the ones in the link

    Most likly.

Do not run REFRESH/RESET without backing up files first.

Find the osimage on the 15gb recovery partition,,. Probably called install.wim , or more likely a few install.swm files.

Check to see what images the .wim contains. If there is more than one, you want Push Button Reset image or similar.

Apply the image to your Windows E partition.

First, you will need to get rid of or move the windows system files already on E. You can do that by making a folder on E called e.g. mywindows and moving them in there.

Or you could format ( not delete ) the partition as ntfs, in which case you will lose your stuff on there.

Gimagex will do the applying for you if it is a single wim ( not likely with these efi annoyances ) . You would need something else for split wims. I think 7-zip will let you extract (same as apply ) from split wims. downloadGImageX
