Alright,

I have an inquiry about the Windows 8 tskmgr loading time. Whenever I press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, it takes AGES to pop up.Usually between 10 and 20 seconds. This happens after every boot and is very frustrating. What is the cause of this and is there a solution?

Thanks

Then perhaps opposite and could be malware. Scan with Malwarebytes.

If that's not it, then next likely reason is a poor unnecessary driver or old driver on the system.

Ironically again, my system is up-to-date and I'm 200% sure there is no malware because I'm very wary with downloading stuff on the internet.

Here you go.

PS: I have just scanned the computer with SpyHunter 4 and the only "threat" it found was a stupid ad toolbar.

I'd uninstall MotionJoy (<<< big no-no), Advanced SystemCare and HotSpot Shield then reboot.

These above drivers should probably be removed too. The bottom two might be part of HotSpot Shield though.

Update camera driver from Microsoft hardware driver website.

Machine should run like a champ after, so enjoy.

You should install the storage driver and latest INF chipset update, since you don't have proprietary driver installed. Both at Intel.com:

Done everything you said, did not do the trick. Apparently, this is a general problem with Windows 8, so there is nothing to do for it. Thank you anyway.

Nah, never happened to me when I had 8 and then 8.1 for a few months, on a low spec laptop. I'd double check on everything.

You're welcome.

You should also see about installing power drivers from ASUS, from Downloads/Utilties section. Things like ATK. You might have to check Win7 for latest.

hi. im running win8.1 enterprise 64x ,and it open in 1to3 seconds

I'm using Windows 8 Enterprise x64 and not 8.1 due the simple fact that I don't like that start button.

Well, the first time opening tskmgr after each boot, it takes like ~10 secs to pop up which is enormously annoying.
I said I don't update to 8.1 due to several reasons (8.1 might autofix this, but dunno)
