hi, when i first installed win8, and went into windows explorer, i had a lot of folders in under This PC folder structure.

i managed to hide a lot of them so it looks neater, but have forgotten how i did it.

at the moment my structure is.

This PC
-Desktop
-Documents
-Downloads
-E:\
-Pictures
-Videos
-Local Disk C
-Local Disk E

so what i have there is a folder called E:\ and a Local Disk E.
they both have the same files and folders in them.

my question is, how do i hide the folder E:\

thankyou for your reply.
i did how ever try what you posted but when i went to the properties it said local disk . and therefore didn't have the hidden option.

i did however work out what my problem was.
i was moving my music folder to my 2nd hard drive (E) but didn't create a folder called music on the E drive.
so, when it moved it created an E:\ folder , instead of a music folder.

so i restored the default for the music folder, then cretaed a mucic folder in E drive, then moved it , and it has fixed my problem.
