Error When Downloading

Hi,

I've been trying to download Microsoft Project, but get the following message when double clicking the the d/l icon:

'Sorry, there was a problem mounting the file'.

I've tried it a second time by uninstalling AVG and spybot first, but I'm still getting the same thing.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Try to change the name of the file from ISO to .exe

Keep us posted.

I'm giving a box with the following options after pressing d/l:

File name: projectprofessional_x64_en-us
Save as type: All files

try right clicking the file and choose Mount ,this will ,should .open it in a virtual cdrom,where you should then find and setup exe file or setup file ,or something like that to click on to run install

I followed the link, im Canada so I choose that and it goes a different route, I had login using my MS acct ,and fille in so info and im in the process of downloading the file with no issue as of yet

ok ,got same errors as you did ,try to open it ,would not mount ,but I right click and chose burn to disk ,and im in the process of burning now

edit .
it worked fine and installed the trial without issue

Even if it gives you that error, the ISO image WILL still mount - Check the CD drives for the Mounted Disk.

You should not get this error clicking on an HTML Link, try using a different browser.

    Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.
Should have mentioned: It's a trial I'm trying to d/l

Still getting the same problem though:
sorry, there was a problem mounting the file

When changing extension to exe:
The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

Have tried d/l both 64 and 32-bit versions.

Please advise further.
