I will just be generally using my laptop browsing the internet or using programs such as photoshop and my system will freeze up for about 10 seconds and then will turn to a black screen forcing me to shut the system down via the power button. This happens at least once a day and most commonly occurs when opening photoshop. My laptop is a Packard bell EasyNote TE69KB, ive been looking for solutions for days but nothing seemed to help.
Please help me if you can, thanks :)

Yep. I see the machine @ PCWorld. It can easily run Photoshop well with hardware acceleration.

I see it comes with Norton Internet Security. Do yourself a huge favor and uninstall that, reboot, then run the tool to remove it too (you can download it from them.)

Set Windows Firewall and Windows Defender to Automatic and start them too.

When you post the tool results, I'll tell you about anything else you should do to make the machine stable and working as well as it can.

Reboot.

Update video driver with this: http://global-download.packardbell....KB&OS=81cn1&LC=en&BC=Packard Bell&SC=EMEA_27P

Update Broadcom wireless with this: http://global-download.packardbell....KB&OS=81cn1&LC=en&BC=Packard Bell&SC=EMEA_27P

Update Bluetooth with this: http://global-download.packardbell....KB&OS=81cn1&LC=en&BC=Packard Bell&SC=EMEA_27P

Install Elantech driver for your touchpad: http://global-download.packardbell....KB&OS=81cn1&LC=en&BC=Packard Bell&SC=EMEA_27P

Install Realtek HD Audio driver: http://global-download.packardbell....KB&OS=81cn1&LC=en&BC=Packard Bell&SC=EMEA_27P

That should really all make the machine run very well, in addition to what I said above about Norton/Symantec.

A nice defragment of the hard drive would be good to do when done with everything too.

Let me know how it goes, but it should be alright.

Update Hotspot Shield to latest, or consider removing it to test, if issues continue.
