I am new here but recently setup a dual boot of Windows 8.1 to test and learn how to use it. I have everything setup and quite liking it so far apart from the lack of a start menu. The new Metro menu that Microsoft have introduced looks quite neat.
The login screen, windows metro and all the new style menu's seem to be huge. I am running it on 1920x1080 and everything else like explorer/desktop seem perfect. For instance when i go to login the user picture (which is default) is about 8cm wide.
Setup:
1920x1080 - GEFORCE 420 (updated drivers)
Screen - 32" Sony Bravia
8GB Ram
